Local Artist Christine Henderson to Display Work at Vermont Summer Festival
Woodstock-based painter Christine Orcutt Henderson will present her newest work at the 2017 Vermont Summer Festival. The Festival, to be held July 4-Aug. 13 at the Harold Beebe Farm in East Dorset, features world class equestrian jumping competition. Her work will be on display during the first two weeks of the show.
Henderson, a longtime acrylic painter and art instructor, will offer her recent work for sale featuring various equine scenes sure to capture the eye, along with landscapes showcasing the summertime brilliance of the Green Mountains.
Henderson’s great grandmother was one of the founders of the Green Mountain Horse Association in South Woodstock. She grew up attending horse shows across New England. More of her current work is on display at the Vermont Horse Country Store and Equine Gallery in South Woodstock.
"It's a natural fit for me," Henderson said of the Summer Festival. "I love the horseshow atmosphere, and I can't wait to be a part of this year's festival."
